The starting point in a project I am calling "Chronicles of Talons, Fangs and Claws" (CoTFaC) which will be a Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) kind of storytelling where I will link some of my commissions together in an adventure where you can choose the path Ion, Flint and Zephyr take to create a larger story from smaller tidbits (which should help me from writing burn out from writing larger pieces in one commission as I have done and kind of dreading one finishing and having to write another one), each path is canon and each story you can create is as well (as these boys go on many adventures so they don't have to take place at the same time). This is also a project that I will continue to work on over time, paths will be limited at first as I commission works to put in the story but new paths will open and I hope many stories can be put together through them as they come along ^^

Another weekend had come and Ion got ready to meet his friends for a day of adventuring just like any other weekend but this time there was some importance to it. Flint and Zephyr had come to Ion's family estate this morning which was unusual as Ion's father, the Overseer of Norland had a special mission for the boys to perform, he wanted them to deliver a letter to the floof dragon elders high up the mountains. Of course the boys were excited for a quest such as this one, ever since they accidentally wandered into the domain of the floof dragons and were escorted out due to them lacking the proper privileges of being there, even if Ion was the heir to the Overseer's post, being on an official mission to them would grant them access to those lands, placed they have not yet explored. With the letter in hand, Ion, Flint and Zephyr took a bow to Ivan before they headed out of Ion's home, through the estate's grounds and out into the city streets. With the estate being on the grounds of the capital building, the boys had to walk around on the winding road for a while before hitting the main thoroughfare, "do you want to get something to eat before we head out?" Zephyr asked as the boys neared the main road, "sure I am up for it, what about you Flint?" Ion answered, making sure to get his other friend's input, "of course, though we should probably eat light as we still have a long way to go" Flint responded as they crossed the gates into the main part of town. They were in the old core of the city, a stalk difference then some of the newer outer modern rings of that vast city that still had that old medieval feel to them but it was the part of town the boys liked the most as it seamed more simpler. "Why don't we just grab some fruit from one of the markets?" Ion said as they started passing street venders to which Flint and Zephyr nodded to, they walked up to one of the venders as each boy selected their favorite fruit, orange for Ion, a peach for Flint and an apple for Zephyr. Ion paid the vender as the boys continued down the road towards the main gates to the city, each munching on the fruit of their choice, "I can't believe we can finally explore those lands!" Flint excitedly said to Ion as he placed a hand on his shoulder, "true" Zephyr started saying as he had a mouth full of apple, "but remember we still have a task to do and need to accomplish" he continued. "Oh, I know that" Flint replied, "but there will still be some time to go out exploring, right Ion?" he continued turning his head towards Ion. "Sure there is" Ion said as he looked back at Flint, "all dad said was we have to deliver the letter before the sun sets down, so we have lots of time to explore along the way, there is no rush at the moment" he continued with a smile as Flint looked even happier. The boys then started walking through the more modern part of the city where tall glass buildings became more common and the aspects of the old core started to vanish, even though as Ion said there was no rush at the moment, the boys decided to run towards the town wall as they never found anything interesting about this part of the city, they quickly approached the gates leading to the valley beyond.....
