A sword worthy of the demon who wields it, after awakening and returning home, Luminescence, the sword of his former self was not up to the task of his awakened body, the old sword cracked and splintered from any new imbued aura Ion would delve into it as it was only forged from mortal metal and the bones of the arm he lost all those years ago, stronger materials were needed, materials Ion would not find down here in the valley, so needing some answers, he headed to the mountaintops, going back to the village of Ryutatsu, where the dragon elders gave him a clue to the knowledge he sought, "the dragon's steel with help you guide but that of one's own kind can only withstand that of one's own kind, don't forget your past and bring it forward as it defines the new you, let it flow from old to new and the path forward will reveal to you." The clue was puzzling, almost gave Ion more questions then answers but he thought on it some more, from the first verse, he knew he had to forge a new blade out of the "dragon's steel" which he knew was daemon steel, being exposed to it in the past, a fox head pommel dagger was given to him as a gift was made out of the very stuff but that alone would not be enough. The second verse made no sense, one's own kind? Did it mean a awakened demon? If so, then what changed for him since fully awakening besides being more immortal and undying? It was something Ion was stumped on until it hit him, the answer was so obvious, it was the very thing that was causing him grief, his demon aura, he had to forge a material out of that and the last verse gave him the answer on how to do so. Heading to the village forge, Ion requested the daemon steel and got to work, he had done this once before, forging the Luminescence by his own hand and reforging it latter on into it's current shark tooth form, but this would be a bigger task.

Melting down the steel, Ion then took his partner in hand as he closed his eyes and reflected on how he got here and how Luminescence guided his path, thanking the blade, he opened his eyes as he imbued the full force of his aura into the Luminescence, fully shattering the blade as the metal shards took on a blackened speckled blue hue, falling into the forge with the smelted daemon steel. Hammer strikes pounded as night turned into day and day then turned into night as the undying Ion worked continuously without rest until the blade was forged, though unawakened it was, it needed the final spark so to speak, a true test of the steel it was crafted. Taking a quick breather back in his lodgings, Ion discovered something unexpected awaiting him in his room, laid out on the bed was a set of garments that seamed fine tuned to every detail specifically for him, with a note from his dragon "brothers" stating that this was something they had been working on for a long while, for when the time came, that the demon Yggdrasil would awaken. Placing on his gift, Ion journeyed to the outskirts of the village as the dragons watched from a safe distance, wanting to see the full awakening of the new Yggdrasil, Ion looked up to the stary sky as there was not a cloud amongst them, raising his sword up, lightning conjured from his other palm as a strike from out of nowhere came down to the blade, dispersing out as Ion's demon aura rang in full tune with the new partner that he took in hand. The Lazulite was born, a sword that can not only withstand the new demon aura that would imbue it, but to be able to cut down the demons he would now have to face as the sword could not only break the undying body, but the very soul itself, fitting for Hunting down those of his one's own kind.....
