Description She's riding down to Pimlico in a carriage on a train,
when someone whispers in her ear about
The American Dream.
She picks up her back pack and she gets off at the station,
and has to stop a homeless man and ask if he knows what it means.
It takes him a minute cause his dreams are old and dusty;
they've been on a shelf in the corner of his mind.
But she offers him her pennies and he offers her a smile:
"Darlin, this is London, the American Dream's just fine."

I love this! So random, and so "free" ...for lack of better phrasing.

In my head it has a little tune that goes with it, Lol.
I'm glad you see it as free, because that's what it was meant to be....random was sort of an accident!
It was written for my brother, dk, who loves trains and wanted me to write something for him. WHich is why it's so strange, you see!
Thanks for the lovely comments.

If I haven't before (sorry, i can't remember and am trying to catch up), i wanted to thankyou for you comments on "Pimlico". I'm glad you could see the story play out - i know it was totally random! - but that was the idea.
Thanks again,
