You have no idea how much this dinosaur is my favorite right now. That weird crest, that odd location... This dinosaur is definitely among the weirdest. I loved having a chance to draw this cold-region dinosaur!

Yesss. <3 Such a good dinosaur in rl, too. I think he'd stand out more in the game if he was a little slimmer and "odd" like the real life animal!

When I first glanced at his new design, I was a little 'eh, that's not how I envision him'. But the more I look at him, the more it grows on me.
I do do like the little nod to Frontiers you did by giving him a split crest.

The slight redesign was meant to play homage to the Aurora Australia, since the real animal is found in that region of the world! I wanted to make Cryo stand out a little bit more besides the two crests.
Speaking of the two crests, that's also actually more accurate towards the real animal! It actually had two crests, not one like the original, and it's an embarrassing mistake I'm glad that I finally fixed.

...He had two crests? Hang on. *goes check Wikipedia* Oh so he did; they just touch/fuse together at the top so it looks like one from a distance.

I need to redraw this one; he's a little too chunky and short for how I imagine it. Definitely a sweet dinosaur, though, and I'm glad to include it as one of my favorites.
