But really, you don't have to be a chef to recognize a bad meal, so why do you suddenly have to be a master artist in order to recognize bad art?

Yeah. Anybody with a pair of eyes (or pretty much the ability to think or have senses) can tell that something is wrong.

Or you know, look at satire and political humor; If half the guys doing had the time to run for and/or hold office, chances are they wouldn't have time to make the world laugh at itself.
