It was a beautiful sunset that summer evening. Within an hours time stars and the moon would be visible in the night sky. Along the cliff sides of Havir territory, where the ocean kissed the rocks and a cold sea breeze drifted for miles, two wolves trotted along the stoney earth.
They had moved a little fast since they received the blessings from Saurugol and Silvanus. But the two seemed content, happy, complete since they were, ‘married’. Quidel let his flank rest easy on his mate’s. Her heavy walk and slowed pace showed signs of heavy pregnancy. It could be any day now that she would give birth to their children. Quidel couldn’t help but admire her in the sunset glow. As though Adezevah had carved this she-wolf in her very image.
