Personality
[OCD] [Proper] [Sassy] [Motherly] [Short Tempered]
OCD: "Everything must be perfect, symmetrical, and organized." Dolorosa is a hug perfectionist! She is all about order and perfection and beauty. Her fashion sense also reflects this. She often has to do things in a orderly fashion and prefers things that look well together. Even numbers make her smile, and things that are clean and symmetrical also are a small part of this OCD. She doesn't notice that she has OCD, but its obvious to us that she does. This sometimes makes it very difficult to get along with Dolorosa, and often chases others away. It was due to the emotional and mental trama that Dolorosa went through as a kitten that has caused her OCD to form and throughout the years and events in her life, it has only worsened.
Proper: "Stand straight! Chin up! Sway those hips- My my my, what a lovely lady we have." Dolorosa is very proper- think of your stereotypical older English woman sipping away at her tea- that is the way of this laddy. All fashion and flowers- love and pleasure, Dolorosa may have seen the worst of it, but she holds together by acting fine and higher than most. Although some think of this as her being snotty but honestly she is just a very calm matured she-cat and enjoys nature and serenity. This is usually considered a positive personality trait since the only think wrong that this she-cat will do is attempt to speak in the best grammar she can! It was told that Penny, the elder from Dolorosa's history that was also very proper and taught Dolorosa to be lady life and behave, perhaps that is why she acts this way.
Sassy: "Hm so funny I seemed to have forgotten to laugh." Sarcastic, blunt and right to the point, this she-cat likes to joke around but only on her terms. Most of the time she will only respond with a snarky retort full of sass and sarcasm. Dolorosa often gets caught in the first impression stage, often judging those around her on their first impression on her. Her sassy nature can sometimes be noted as admirable for being silly and goofy but she usually is very oblivious to other's jokes.
Motherly: "Come little one- I'm here now." The motherly instinct often kicks in when she sympathizes with others. If you are younger, or weaker than she- Dolorosa will often treat you as equal but will also be caring and loving to you. She often tried to avoid getting close to others after Sol's death but still feels a strong connection to those around her. Dont be shyed away but her cold nature at first, once you crack that egg shell of hers, she is a huge sweetheart.
Short Tempered: "Dare you say that again to my face?" Often portrayed as weak because of her caring and motherly ways- it is her short temper that reminds others of her power and strength. She is not one to mess with. Dolorosa isn't just motherly and OCD- she is quick to react and easy to tick off.
HistoryDolorosa’s parents were a young couple, deciding to rush right into a relationship right out of graduation. Kyrie was a wild she-cat but she always wanted to be a mother, while Marius was a cautious male, one that wanted kits just as much as Kyrie- but he was a tad more nervous to commit to being a father. After a some time went by, Kyrie was pregnant and Dolorosa was born into a litter of five. It was difficult to get the attention she wished for, but this wasn’t the biggest problem she had,
Because of the rush of the relationship, Kyrie and Marius constantly fought and argued about petty things, but Kyrie had a hard time letting the little things go. Marius and Kyrie would fight at least twice a day.
The East Region was starting to become disturbed and displeased with how Kyrie and Marius would do this constant fighting and this emotional abuse towards their kits.
When Dolorosa’s freckle came in, her parents didn’t care nor notice, but she was so happy and proud to be claimed by the Water element and be able to be powerful like others with the power of Water as well! It was another queen that pointed out what Element Dolorosa was, a queen named Penny. Dolorosa liked to spend time with Penny, she was a very old queen, soon to be moved to the elder’s den. She enjoyed the females company and with Kyrie and Marius and the rest of her siblings that she could careless for.
As Dolorosa became a Rookie to a tom named Theus, he was a stubborn jerk honestly. He gave Dolorosa all her first spells, he was also a Water Element, he was able to teach Dolorosa the ways of controlling it and using it to your advantage. She loved Theus, the closest anyone ever came to being a father to her- but there was something she liked about Theus more than his fatherly affection. He was handsome and she grew to care for him more than what he would ever feel towards her. Dolorosa admitted her feelings to her mentor and the tom rejected her, telling her that he did not feel that way towards the she-cat and that she was his apprentice, nothing more. It was heart breaking for her to be rejected, but she decided she could live on. Dolorosa soon graduated and the next day, Dolorosa was speaking to a cat, as they were guarding- a sudden russet she-cat tackled Dolorosa to the group. Her teeth were bared, her eyes were wet with tears, but they were a beautiful purple.
Breathless and flustered, Dolorosa was easily able to push the she-cat off when the cat next to her ripped the russet she-cat off and put her to face their leader. It was saddening to see a she-cat smaller.. younger... And even more beautiful than Dolorosa, be killed. It was Drew, another she-cat of the East that helped Akarui and took her home.
Months and months went by, Dolorosa was sure the russet cat was dead, and when she asked around, she learned that she was from the North Region and her name was Akarui and somehow she had survived the attack.
Dolorosa shrugged off the fact she was almost knocked out and continued her life. It was when Penny died, and Theus took a mate- Dolorosus own sister to be exact.
This did not bother her as much as the fact that her leader assigned their son, Sol, to be her apprentice. It was a tragic end when both Dolorosa's own sister and Theus died, leaving Sol alone. Unable to change any of the fate, Dolorosa did what she did best- she mothered and nurtured Sol until he grew sick and died before being able to be a hunter and finish any of his training. Sol was the first and only Rookie she had even gotten the privilege to train.
Angry and hurt, scared for the rest of time, Dolorosa went to her leader, Cinna, telling him of her leave.
He understood her reasons, and allowed her leave, although disapproved of her next moves. That next morning, Dolorosa asked the Northern Leader if she could join the North Region. Most the cats were confused as to why Dolorosa wouldn't just simply stay in her own Region- isn't moving a little dramatic? I personally thing yes, but I also think Dolorosa felt responsible for loving Sol so much, and with the memories she had, she couldn't just stay there- a Region that wasn't too far but far enough was the North Region, and she hopes to start over and dedicate her life to her new Region.

The breeze over the flowery valley carried the soft scent of pine tree and willow with it. The memories of the Eastern Region left Dolorosa feeling a peaceful melancholy. Had she done the right thing leaving the East Region? She was glad that she would never have to see her parents again nor the spots in which Sol and she used to play. It was better off this way. It had only been a few days since Dolorosa officially joined the North Region- it was a hard adjustment but she was sure she would get the hang of it. Most of the Region was female and so far hadn’t talked to her at all, being in the Valley Bend helped. The warmth and sweet scents brought her great tranquility. The creamy white female rested her head on her paws, the sun warmed her back as she drifted off into a light sleep.

Akarui wasn't having a bad day, but she wasn't having a great day either. She found herself feeling kind of sereved, not quite depressed but she hadn't wanted to hang around others

At Last I See The Light
Waking up to early morning rays, Akarui tried to shut her eyes even tighter. She hadn't had this in a while, but awakening to it now she knew there was no hiding from it today. Ever since her accident, she had what she called "bad days". Days were her inner demons seemed to cry out t loud to hear anything else, or to even let herself think. Where the sun rays streaming in through the den on the pelt of hers and her sleeping comrades was glaring and unfriendly.
Letting herself curl tighter into a call she let out a small groan. She hated these days, but had found no recipe for getting rid of them either, she just had to sit through the day feeling like utter waste and keep her eyes closed till the pain went away. Usually it meant she had dreamt last night of her family, you know, the one she no longer had but she couldn't remember any such dream if one had occurred. She had almost let herself think these days were over, vanquished, but possibly the bad weather of a snowst

{Orange-Shadow//Drew//Fire Tribe Camp}
Rain fell from the sky over head as a small figure made its way over the land. The creature was small and fluffy. She had white long whiskers, and a stunning pelt that would remind one of a tiger. She had just passed her favorite place, not having been there in months now, the now adult Shadow Triber looked at the clearing, surrounded in willows and birch trees- a pretty waterfall at the end, its sight jerked at her heart strings. Drew knew today was the day. It had been a month or so since she broke it off with Akarui, the Pink-Orange-Fire and about two or three since she got into the fight with Ca-. She didn’t even want to think of his name. She let out a long sigh, knowing she was wrong, and that she needed to make things right.
She reached the Fire Tribe territory, keeping to the shadows and staying out of the sight of passing Fire Tribe cats. She hadn’t thought about how she was going to manage this, but all she knew was that she HAD to do it. She needed to apologize, to earn back the one cat that was there for her despite all her bull shit, one of the many cats she chased away, but the only one she really wanted back. She saw a passing group of cats, amongst them a red she-cat walked, Akarui… She felt horrible for breaking it off with the cat, but she needed to realize that who she had become was not who she needed or wanted to be. Tears tugged at her eyes, but she held them back, a battle with her own pride kept her heart aflame. She reached the camp now, and she prayed Caspian would be there. Drew gulped and walked straight into the camp.
As she suspected, everyone in the clearing glared and stared, what the hell was a Shadow Triber doing just walking in here like that? She kept her head high, and eyes open for Caspian. A few cats approached her telling her she wasn’t to be here, and that she needed to return home. She shook her head,”I need to see someone.” She told them. They looked questioning at her, unsure of the truth a Shadow Triber would tell, or if they were a lying type. Drew demanded now, ”I will not leave until I see-“ She stopped when she saw the copper American curl standing in the Fire Tribe crowd. ”Caspian…” She breathed, slipping by the cats, staring at the tom. She felt like her tongue was swollen now, and her stomach full of butterflies, and her paws made of jelly.”Cas..Caspian… I-I need to talk to you… Please.” She said out loud, her voice actually pretty soft, she was afraid he might not hear her being a few tail lengths away.
