Nice atmosphere in that. It somehow looks cold and warm at the same time to me.

The perspective and composition are nicely done here. The colors, again are nice but the values could be pushed. What I feel could amp this piece up some more is to push the feeling of cold here. The snow is not bad and it conveys as snow just fine so don't worry about that you did a good job. What seems to be an issue though is that the picture doesn't quite read as cold because of the large amount of warm colors put into the piece. The reds of the capes along with the glazed red of reflected light here and there in the snow takes it from a cold snowy day into a strange feeling instead. As well the children are laying down in shorts and t shirts as if nothing is really wrong so it helps toΒ confuse the viewer. There's nothing wrong with adding warm tones into a winter scene though just make sure they don't dominate if you're aiming for cold.
