Special abilities: As an empath, she is able to mentally read a person's predominant emotions and what they are tied to. While this can come across as being psychic, they are not one and the same. She can read how you might feel about her attempt at spaghetti, but not your thought of "omg this spaghetti is the absolute worse why must I pretend to enjoy this?" This ability usually gives her a second in combat, allowing her to dodge out of the way of more powerful attacks.

She also has some minor floating capabilities, which she uses to avoid sitting directly on the floor if there are no chairs available, or to make herself taller. Usually to make herself taller.
Fun fact: Fire Agate looks like a constantly sleep deprived grouch because she is always in tune with other people's emotions, unable to shut her power off. She's actually quite nice, and enjoys helping people be the best they can be.

Oh, and she is also mute. She communicates with a variety of methods, particularly GSL (gem sign language).

Since I'm a nerd, I like to base my gems off of their metaphysical and physical properties in reality. So let's look at some fun facts of fire agates and how they relate to this reserved lady in particular!

Fire Agates are a variation of chalcedony, which is a silica, which is made by quartz and moganite. I feel most comforable with the knowledge we have of quartzes, so I went with that as the common demoninator. This way, I'm not having to make stuff up only for it to be retconned by canon later...

Fire Agates are formed near volcanic activity and are a type of volcanic rock. This Fire Agate was a little different from her sisters that emerged with her, being quieter and lacking any fire capabilities. It was a trade off for her empath abilities, but it's not uncommon for Fire Agates to experience this dichotomy. It's rarer to meet one that has both empath and fire powers.

As her gem is known for being a stone of absolute perfection, Fire Agate feels she must strive to make things as perfect as possible. Fortunately, that means bringing out the best traits in others and seeing they work together, and not attempting to fit them into a cookie cutter mold.

Fire Agates are used in day to day life as a stabilizing and strengthening stone. They suggest a vibrant energy that brings out passion in positive ways. As such, Fire Agate herself often finds herself working with gems in need of encouragement, a true support gem who tries to help with difficult decisions and remind others of the beauty of their lives. She's the sort that can be distracted by the mere process of emerging from her gem after being poofed for days after the fact.

Her gem placement is roughly over the Root Chakra, known for being the foundation of physical and spiritual energy for the body.
