300 honestly pissed me off, it's so historically inaccurate and distorts the Persions as savages and barbarians. I heard my friends talking about how sucky the Persians were and I felt like shooting them...... T_T It SUCKED SO MUCH! Thank you for making this!

Dude, it's a movie. It's SO not meant to be real. It's meant to be a mock of reality. If you want to see a 100% true movie on history, turn on Discovery Channel or History Channel. And I bet that US people DO have access to that tv, at least those that have tv. (And those that have not, they wouldn't be able to see the movie neither so neh

I don't mind the outrage that Xerses was portrayed this way, but Frank Miller didn't draw the concept art. Give credit where it is due.

have you studied propoganda? i have, and its just lame that you try to make out that this film offends you, its fictional. This film had nothing to do with the government, i have a degree in audio visual media, and if you know anything about the process by which films are made, you wouldnt be arguing right now, you would just accept the film as a piece of a writers creative imagination.

man this is old subject!!!,But it's so clear that movie is fictional!,Again but! we have many things in this movie to change persian history!, they show Persian King! as African American!!! and we are so more like to Moguls!. you can find many things in dialog. it's more like traminator or superman not sparts! anyway forget this old subject.

Yeah 300 is full of shit. Seems to be a Psy-operation. That is meddling with the psyche of anyone watching it. More or less seems like a preparation for the hatred of iranians. if we need a jsutification for war then we need to, on a subconscious level fear iranians. fear means we're allowed to strike first.. 'just in case' so they want to keep us fearful.
That movie was so surreal and alien, the persians looked otherworldy, i guess that's the point. In that movie there'd be very graphic footage of a few spartans killing a hugely disproportionate amount of faceless unidentified bodies. The more the better, desensitises the viewer to killing a large amount of faceless nobody's instead of individual people with lives and families.
So nothing is every said explicitly, but this movie makes americans feel the fear and the rush and adrenaline of going to war It is a mental preperation. Frank Miller is a dumbarse bigoted American. Sin City was a kikarse movie and i havent read the graphic novels, doesnt change the fact he's a redneck and so are his mates with deep pockets and hollywood contacts. They're all pushing this scary right-wing shit.
All that aside I really really really liked that movie. It's a fantasy movie that's how i tried to watch it. But the racial prejudices and ..demonising and hidden agenda was all too painfully obvious... cuz theres always more behind the scenes.
