Story: after his birth, his curiosity led him towards a team of humans, and he continued following them until they go back to civilization. after his experience with them, he has grown a deep curiosity within world he's in. he wants to see the world, and he will wish to continue living until he sees everything the world has to offer.

Fighting style: he uses his wooden body to make blades and other sharp objects to slice his enemies. the weakness of this is that he is made of wood, and when a piece is broken off, he can't control it and he will have to grow a new one by absorbing things that trees need. regrowing will take days or weeks, due to him being a tree.
Note: i haven't thought of the name of the species yet, so i this might be edited later along with some stuff that might help that i haven't thought about yet.
