And, yes, I really hope Khal gets more character development in the show, it would be a great surprise if he turns out to be more than muscles!

Well, this is clearly inspired by the TV series, where her eyes are brown, so I'm disinclined to worry about that personally.

Oh, I' ve never really read the book ): I'll probably only read them after this first season ends.
But Daenerys with purple eyes, wow, she must be even more beautiful in the books!

You definitely should!! Purple/lilac eyes is the special feature of her dynasty, and khal is far more kind to her in the book, so it explains her being at his side when he.. khm.. okay, no spoilers, lets talk about it later.


But i really think, that the book is more impressive. It is really better to read the book before watching, i think, because the movie has to open more secrets at once, while in the book they come one-by-one, which makes it more interesting.

And the casting is not perfect, as for me. Especially talking about Jon.. the actor damn kills me, the guy was so different in the book-version.

You won't ever regret reading it!
