If feels like a un/conscious ultimating of growing up, since who else can water the plant, but in this case it's a hand (direction upwards or else self destruct!).
BTW, those tools the way they are arranged, do they mean something? (I was thinking they were numbers, but on second look not sure at all!)

Yeah, it does have sort of a double meaning with the play of title and the serial killer decadence. Growing up, especially too fast, is a melancholic experience: all the magic of childhood imagination disappears. The serial killer aspect of it is just my morbid fascination of all the bizarre methods that some serial killers work by. Like taking trophies of certain body parts or making household items out of human remains. lol. What may wonder what goes through their heads in that process.
You're the first to wonder about the tools, and that would brilliant idea, but 'unfortunately' (hehe) they are there only to indicate some sort of gardening tool shed.

From a short glimpse, this may be under the theme of 'surreal' and 'conceptual', but I think, macabre and horror suits well since the colour shown here is dark and gloomy... looks creepy
