I understand this. It's when she and MacBeth killed Banquo; it traumatized them to the point where they saw blood on their hands whenever they looked down at them. Lady MacBeth became so miserable by it, she committed suicide.

Getting some serious Avatar: the Last Airbender vibes here, when Azula went crazy talking to her mother's reflection in the mirror. Then again, Macbeth might've been what inspired that scene.
