I should practice texture backgrounds more _ _”.
Picture inspired from one of the concepts seen in “ Hyrule Historia ”.
Personally, I think I like both of their designs better as they are in the game. But I must say, most of the concepts shown in “Hyrule Historia” for Links wolf form looked pretty cool too.
When it comes to Midna … I'm not so sure. I like her final design better in appearances. But on the other hand, this design was way easier to draw. Her helmet on the official design is a time murderer and pain to draw.
I had a lot of struggle with making background and main subject match, but in the end I think it looks ok.

You know.... I always wondered if the concept art was of
Link becoming corrupted as a wolf and this would've been the result...
(Well aside from Midna's early concept, I honestly like how she looks here as well :3)

That's an interesting theory. He looks more like a real shadow beast with this design.
I like Midnas final design the best so far, but this one is way easier to draw xD (her helmet with all details takes forever to draw otherwise, lol).
