Description
ever since MLP aired the episode talking about the Legends of Equestria, and then having them actually be real ponies, me and a friend started working on a Norse Pony story.
today I designed Princess Brightwing. She controls weather and is leader of the Norse Ponies. She has several flights of ponies from the Furies to the Color Guard. Because of the Color Guard, the Rainbows in Equestria work the way they do, and it's because of her Pegasus can work with the weather all over.
Because she's based off of Freyja (Thor was introduced as Rockhoof in the show), we went with Brightwing because of flying but also because of all the things she represents. I know her Brisingamen is supposed to be red gems, I believe, but I went with the bright blue for this to match her Aurora Borealis hair

You know funny thing is way back during like S3 Rarity's voice actress hinted the idea (which never came to be) that Fluttershy would become a dragon for an episode. A few years later Blizzard released Heroes of the Storm, with a Faerie Dragon from World of Warcraft named Brightwing her voice actress? The same voice actress for Fluttershy & Pinkie.
And now you got a pony named Brightwing who I at first thought looked like a Night Elf also from WoW.

oh wow! haha I had no idea. Me and my co-writer were going based off of Rockhoof (Thor) we figured Freyja would be something with wing, and Brightwing was just too perfect xD
