Description Name: Destiny

Nickname: N/A

Species: Ponyta

Gender: female

Ability: Flash Fire

Nature: Quirky

Characteristic: Capable of taking hits

Personality: lighthearted || friendly || ditzy

Occupation: mail carrier

Moves:
Charm
Flame Charge
Wild Charge
Bounce

Extra:

Neither snow nor rain nor vicious sandstorm shall prevent the mail from reaching its destination! Not even buildings are enough to stand between this Pokémon and her goal: she'll leap them in a single bound.

Though fleet of foot and one of the fastest in the business when it comes to hauling heavy packages, she is infamous for her tardiness off the job. Easily distracted, she must be reminded to keep on task if she is to get anything else done.

Her flames do not burn Pokémon or items unintentionally. If for any reason they do, then somehow said Pokémon or item really got on her nearly nonexistent bad side.

As nice as blue haired Ponyta looks, all that changes is the flame. That's it. The flame gets hotter, whoop de do. It's not even a real shiny.

Or even solid brown shiny Ponyta. Or shiny black. That would make it one of the most popular shinies ever.

Thanks~ I wanted a black Ponyta, but pfffft that personality is all wrong. Guess I'll just have to get another.

I've got a shiny Rapidash if that counts~

Just wondertrade, man. I have over a box of shinies and I've only bred one.

I don't trust shinies that come from undetermined sources. They're all out to get us.

I am way too suspicious by nature to keep any shiny I got over wondertrade. XD

I just keep them because hey, shinies! Besides, even if they aren't legit, my shiny Reshiram and Mewtwo are pretty damn rad.

But then again, I got a shiny Arceus too so... (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah, those are pretty cool.XD

My first shiny ever was shiny Arceus, my luck was just that great. Or horrible. Really it depends on your point of view there, considering I could do absolutely nothing with it. Then it got stuck in my Wii Pokémon Ranch when I accidentally erased the file it was on a few years later... Ah, well, it makes a pretty trophy. :'D

It's been so long, I wonder if My Pokémon Ranch allows you to see the Nature and Characteristic of the Pokémon in there. Maybe I can finally put it to use!

Do it.

My first shiny was a Luvdisc in Black. Kinda funny how it happened, too. I was on GTS Negotiations, and I would always show my strongest/highest leveled Pokémon first. This was pretty soon after i had gotten my hands on the National Dex. For whatever reason, I had gotten my hands on a level 61 Luvdisc, and I'll never forget the day that someone willingly traded away their shiny level 81 Luvdisc for it. It was wild.

And I'm still mad that Luvdisc doesn't evolve into Alomomola.

It was a scam I MEAN WHAT, of course that's super wild, my suspicious personality finds nothing wrong with this nope.

Why Nintendo whyyyy

It's been almost five years, I've given up my suspicions. Like 98% of transactions on Pokémon are shady and very possibly of hacked Pokémon, I've just grown numb to it I guess.

Car keys Pokémon? Suuure. Two heart fish Pokémon related? NAHHHHH.

I don't grow numb to things. It's both a blessing and a curse.

And of course when they introduced Bouffalant they didn't give it a pre-evolution to link it to Tauros. Nope.

Maybe numb isn't the right word. I guess I just accepted it and moved on.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks Ditto should be a pre-evolution to Grimer

IridescentMirage In reply to TheRealRiiver [2015-09-01 15:16:08 +0000 UTC]

The end result is the same, so I'm not sure the details matter. XD

Sorry, that's all on you. Grimer makes absolutely no sense to me as a Pokémon and would be ousted from my mind if it didn't have the excuse of being a gen 1 Pokémon.

True, true

Meh, I have Pokémon from pretty much every generation that I'd be happy to ditch. Gen 1? Farfetch'd. Why. Gen 2? Politoed. Poliwhirl deserves better. Gen 3? Plusle and Minun. Pichu ripoffs. Gen 4? Burmy and Wormadam. Or at least the trash cloak ones. Again, why. Gen 5? Woobat and Swoobat. It hardly takes half a brain to realize they're ripping of Zubat with those. And gen 6? Like half of them Klefki.

Most of the ones that make that particular list are item-based or just plain don't belong in the world. Gen 1: Grimer and Muk. Gen 2: The most perfect gen? XD Gen 3: Glalie, what even are you. Gen 4: Probopass, you ruined Nosepass's only chance of getting a decent evolution. Gen 5: Trash and gear Pokémon. Just no. Gen 6: Those swords man. I can excuse the key kleptomaniac by changing it into another creature in my head, but you can't change swords. Oh, unless it's this kind . Then I'm all for it and the key thing can take the heat.

TheRealRiiver In reply to IridescentMirage [2015-09-01 16:15:53 +0000 UTC]

I've always had s tolerance for the swords, but I guess that may be because I have a shiny Aegislash. I think the Klink and Trubbish lines had good concepts, they just could've been executed a lot better. Garbodor could've been way better if they had made it more menacing, at least in my opinion.
One of the places where my opinions kinda go against the masses is with the gen 3-5 fire-fighting starters. I dunno, I'm just a sucker for that combo. Or maybe it's because my two first Pokémon games were Platinum and White and I absolutely loved the Chimchar and Tepig lines. Plus my Blaziken in Omega Ruby was pretty sweet too.

Inanimate objects just don't do it for me, especially because they remind me too much of Digimon.

The Fire-type of every generation is great. Then again, all starters in general are awesome.

TheRealRiiver In reply to IridescentMirage [2015-09-03 18:42:16 +0000 UTC]

You do have a point there. God, I haven't played Digimon in AGES.

I'm a huge fire-type nerd. Most of the starters were really cool, but the only ones that didn't do it for me were Totodile, Oshawott, and Snivy. Not to say they're not cool, but water- and grass-types aren't really my thing.

Me either! It was a pretty good game~

I like all types, though a specific Pokémon that makes me nervous is Gengar. That Pokémon single handedly managed to ruin my Swampert's perfect winning streak and has terrorized me since.

TheRealRiiver In reply to IridescentMirage [2015-09-08 10:30:12 +0000 UTC]

Gengar's just plain creepy. I couldn't get hold of one until I had beaten Omega Ruby, though, so it just sat in my boxes since I had a weird decent competitive team already. But by decent I mean relatively awful and it just slowly evolved into strong Pokémon that I traded for.

A Pokémon that makes me nervous, though, has gotta be Salamence. I was so close to beating the Hoenn E4, and I knew Steven would be a breeze, but then Drake and his Salamence got the better of me. Maybe that's why I have such a distaste for most dragon-types. Clair and Lance just kinda added on to it.
