Description
So this is obviously in the Fallout universe, Ace found a feral ghoul that was friendly and began to care for it. However caring for it meant keeping it close to radiation to keep it healthy. However Ace and Flower were both trying to find enough caps to support Flower's drug habit and Ace's Radaway though it was very difficult. So in order to save caps, Ace stopped using the Radaway as frequently as he had been, allowing his radiation levels to rise dangerously before he'd take more. As a result, Ace suffered a large radiation burn to the side of his face.

Unfortunately this would cause people to treat him differently, many now looked at him with disgust and treated him as they would a Ghoul. For someone like Ace this was a painful event in more ways than one...
