本 来不 打 算 贴 上 来的 呢 ， 毕 竟 是 要 拿 来 买 的 作 品 。 。 。可 是 要 我 不 把 自 己 呕 心 沥 血 的 作 品 贴 在 这 里 。 。 。 很 难 办 到 也 ！ 谁 请 着 我 这 种 画 家 可 真 是 大 难 临 头 了 。

Another training of black and white sufferness, this time I'm making shoujo-manga attemp lol. XD
I admire how shoujo mangaka draw shiny eyes!! It might seems easy, but the fact is----- it's freaking hard! Coz they have to draw those eyes 1938409328 times in the manga. Well, I suppose mangaka have lotsa helper... x3;;
There's lotsa...space (white) isn't it? >__< My brain just can't figure out any better thing to put at her back~ Whatever I tried to put, they just seems to disturb the main figure~ TT________TT;;

Oh, very nice. :3 I love the small details in her hair and eyes. You say you were trying to imitate the shoujo art style, and I think I see the problem. Most mangaka don't just do black and white drawings, they tend to use tones like crazy. At least, that's what I've noticed. It's like they have to use at least 3 different tones for the eyes, hair, and shading. Then another 2 or 3 just for the background alone depending on the atmosphere of the scene (which is usually very flowery).
Also, the lines seem... not enough. Like, if you were just to stretch out the lines a bit more and make it gradually thicker towards the darker lines... am I making sense to you? XD; For the hair, the lines seem fine, but the body needs more stable, thicker lines.

Aaaah~ That's very true lol!! I was holding a big Shoujo Manga magazine (something like LaLa) while I'm doing this piece, i purposely avoided those "crazy toning". especially "flowerly or dot-dots background" lol. I don't know why, I've seen too much and I got sick of it. xD;;;
I realize my lines is very stiff... >_<;; And maybe too thin lol. Maybe I'm over-controling it.

Is this related to Kamka Iris Chan ? Anyhow if you need help with the background you can always ask neko or saku and her sister. Im pretty sure they got wild ideas that might just fit the background nicely.
