Description
Now that I have restarted writing for Twisted Fantasy (my Final Fantasy VIII fanfiction soon to feature on my DA page) I needed a ref for my current chapter's scenario: Shumi Village.Though technically a side quest in the game... a rather annoying and boring side quest to the game, I wanted to include it in the stories. Much like the "Memory Lane" Chapter, I am planning something different for this chapter. For one, I am fusing all 3 major subquests in the area into ONE sole event and am NOT making them go back and fro FH because I feel it's not at all practical, so, sorry but no Master Fisherman cameo. For two, I wanted to expand the village and make it interesting, hence the ref. It's easier to send them on wild "stone" chases when I can see and determine where exactly they are likely to find them ^^
All that said... well..... all is said ^^
I do not own Final Fantasy VIII or the Shumi Village, but this layout is from me ^^

I told you on gmail that I actually think this is better than the Shumi that exists in the game.

that is probably because you can barely see what the Shumi Village in the game is like!! In some locations you start or eventually have a full view of the area, Like Balamb and Galbadia Gardens, even the view from the trains station in Deling gives you a broad view. Trabia continent gets no love so you can't really see much of Shumi Village... I needed more intel and when I couldn't find I just... made it

That is true, its a shame actually like what was the point of even making that continent when they didn't bother with it. I was actually most annoyed about Trabia Garden =/
