To create the effect of the leaves, did you just dab dry paint on with the brush? It creates such a realistic effect.

This is gorgeous. Your colors are so rich and natural. I am teaching myself to paint, I have not worked up the nerve to do watercolors, they look so delicate and intricate. But you do them beautifully!

Thank you. I started to paint for about 2 years. It helps to learn some techniques since watercolors are like painting in negative. One does not paint white and the transparency of it make it unique. It help if one uses a book like βThe Watercoloristβs Essential Notebookβ By Gordon MacKensie. I also used βDaniel Smithβ watercolor paint. I like them, since the colors are richer and the pigments are stronger (UV safe). Good luck.
