Description I was watching a few Hanna Barbara cartoons the other night, and it inspired me to draw Arthur and Darby in their style. I gave them each a patch of peach color around the bottom parts of their faces because I noticed that the animal characters in those cartoons usually did. I have always loved their character designs.Β

I can totally see the Hanna-Barbera style that has been put into these two! Arthur and Darby look great in the classic Hanna-Barbera style! this could totally look like something from a cartoon!

Oh yeah, I love Dapatie-Freleng's style too. There was another style from the 60's that I like, can't remember what the company was called, but they animated The Beatle cartoon series and this other series called Cool McCool. Anyway, their style was cool too. Also of course, I love the cartoon styles from the 30's-50's, like the Fleischer Bros., classic Disney, and Warners.Β Β
