Our friend's adorable cat, Bart. He lives on a real nice ranch, with two terrific people, 4 horses, 3 dogs, and some chickens. He seemed very pleased and content with his world!

This is Bart, the barn cat. Everyday he gets up, stretches a bit, and proceeds on patrol. He's the eyes and ears of this place. Patroling through the stables and past the chicken coupe, he makes sure everything is in order. Much like a lion on the savannah. ^.^

I can imagine in my head this cat that stretches, walks around like on patrol, and then lays around like a library lion. And you can still see he's alert cause the ears move or the tail twitches!

I agree! It was fun taking a picture of a happy animal at his home! All of their pets were so beautiful, healthy, and happy. I was extremely impressed! I love the name, Bart, too!

He is a cutie, very striking. I have a new barn cat. Would love to get a shot of him! Might be a while. He is a stray that moved in during the fierce cold and when I realized he was not going home, because he had no home, we started feeding him. He watches me now, from the loft steps, but still very skittish...someday, we'll touch him..
