Description Her name doth sound the bells to ring within,
The breast of mine, that cage which holds my heart,
Gold hair, blue eyes, full bust, fine bones, pale skin,
Fashioned by hands that know the greatest art.
And voice with lilt doth speak those precious words,
“I love thee so,” from out the deepest pith,
A’stirs within a hope as light as birds,
Took wing and soared into the sky forthwith.
Yet now a chasm looms betwixt our points,
Across, though I can easy see her still,
Divided once, her heart at middle’s joints,
The red begs passage; blue swears, “Never will.”
She stands within embraces strange to me,
I’m left, reminded, how it used to be.
