For a long while, KaylaTechHeart and I have been throwing around ideas with the Powerpunk Girls fitting into the AngelPuffs/Demonruffs AU.
She has her mind set on the Powerpunk Girls being “Angels of Darkness”, or fallen angels. In the world Punks live in, every good person in the Puff world is evil, that would also count people in power (I.E the Mayor), Crime would be legal, what is known as Wrong is Right in that dimension. Heaven and Hell would also be switched in that case. Making the Powerpunk Girls Angels of Darkness (The Top Box)

My views are that the Powerpunk Girls simply Demons (or as RowdyruffPowerpuff45 called them, Devils). They are just pure evil, I don’t see them being angels or angels who became dark angels because They just wouldn’t be is that high order from the start, or even indicated to be. They rob banks, attack civilians, beat the good guys (like Jomo) with cruel smiles on their faces. Their 3rd ingredient is literally “Everything Nasty”. I saw Viletown as a place that was doing ok until Oppressor Plutonium appeared and made the girls... legit, their dad’s name is Oppressor. .-.
So me and Kayla had been thinking on what could be their official beings. I say Demons, She says Dark Angels. I can’t exactly make an official call without their being some sort of imbalance. And Kayla had only supported the “Demon” route just because of the designs I made for them (And I’m not looking for Favorites in Designs, I’m looking for what is the most correct)

Now that i am thinking, if PPGs are Angels, and RRBs are Demons, then it would make sense for PowerPunks to be Dark Angels.
As in, PowerPuff Girls protect people and fight for justice so everybody would have a good life. While PowerPunks are Oppressing people by forcing them to follow strict rules.
I just have my own views on what PowerPunks should be. I don't like the canon version from the comics where they are just plain villains. I would prefer if they would be like PowerPuff Girls, but since they are from alternate reality where good is bad and bad is good, then it would make sense for them to be on Lawful Evil side compared to PPGs Lawful Good.

I believe Dark Angels are those who fight on Law side like normal Angels... they are just do it in a much more violent way. As in, "Anyone who disobeys the law must be punished". They lack the kindness of normal Angels.
As for Demons... well, Demons are Chaos, right? That would mean that there could be Light Demons, who are more about Freedom than Chaos, they just love to have fun and pull out silly pranks, but are friendly to everyone. They lack cruelty of normal Demons.
What do you think on my view?

I personally think the Punks should be Demons
They were created with the intention of destruction and for well,,, to do evil stuff
When I think of fallen angels, I think of a being that was once previously a normal pure, holy angel before something happens that causes them to fall (or get corrupted or something?), resulting in a fallen angel
To me the idea of a fallen angel implies the notion that the Punks were once good, though we all know this isn't the case, which is why I believe it would make more sense to have the punks as demons-

I am sort of agreeing with you tho because I did look back on Deja View and that’s... yeah that’s pretty much accurate. But this is also partial to Kayla’s input because she has AU OCs.

I wholeheartedly like the Devils if I'm being honest, since the reason you gave for them, and the fact that sometimes when you're a fallen angel, you were usually previously good, but then you sinned and were cast out of heaven and became a fallen angel. But as the lore of the Punks go, they were never good, to begin with, they were evil and meant to be evil, as in like the opposite of the Puffs. So I think it makes more sense to make them Devils, it helps more explore things for a lore purpose as well in this AngelPuff's universe.
I just also like the Devil's design, but I do have more of a reason to like the Devil's more than just their designs. Since if I just go by designs, I could also say that the Punks look kinda plain in the Fallen Angel designs since the Puff's have more of a design to them, wouldn't the Punks do as well? And the things I said above about the different sides of them. and I don't see them as edgy since if they're devils, they're sure to look dark and menacing.

I supported both but mostly on the Dark Angels because the world sounded right. But I support the demons because it’s not just the designs but being pure evil from the start is true. But in the world or dark angels and light demons, there are no “light angels” or “dark demons” so there is no turning from good to bad. It’s basically rules and laws and logic flipped upside down.
Plus I wanted a decision so I can decide whether to change up Billy or not because my partial OCD is urging me to stick with canon reasons. QwQ

I can see both scenarios, but I just figured to go with a more black and white thing. Not like a gray area just because I’m lazy.
Also why do you think I’m doing this? I wanna have a legit answer that everyone can agree on. But lucky for you it seems that Angels of Darkness is getting a better response than the Devils. :T
