I stumbled upon it and found it to fit the image quite well..
Stitches gazing intently with his eye located on the demonic red side of his face.
.
At first I was going to have this as a scene from the OC battle but I changed my mind.
.. Stitches giving a very serious look saying "I've had enough" which means that he is about to transform or is extremely focused. For the reason that he always refers to himself as "Us" and "We". The Transformed State is when one side of Stitches is more dominant.
.
I got the idea to draw the eye that way from looking at a Hollow mask wearing Ichigo picture, off the anime Bleach.
I'll post the un-Colored version in my scraps.

And I'm gald you asked. at first it was for looks but then I thought of his story..
His scar is from an Angel that struck him when he was just a demon. He or She I haven't decided yet granted Stitches Free will. because all the demons were just following orders and had no free will of there own. Even demons suffered in hell. so then Stitches became self aware in a away and didn't want to play by the Devils rules. The first thing he did was Kill the Devil's son...
