This piece part of an alternate universe sci fi setting I am making. It is an alternate universe that deviated from our own in 1960, with the discovery of a crashed alien space ship. The Cold War never ended, and technology grew rapidly due to reverse engineering of the wreckage. The current year in this alternate universe is 2001, and it resembles a cyberpunk dystopia. Megacorporations rule the planet, and have also established colonies throughout the solar system.
