Description
In 1897, the sailing ship Demeter arrived in London without a crew. Only blood, splattered upon the decks and the sails, remained as a clue to their terrible fate.The ship had carried a foul, ancient being from distant wild lands, all the way to the heart of modern civilisation. This creature, neither dead nor alive, easily settled into this new hunting ground.
