Description Now this shot is my favourite out of the ones I have taken of Mow Cop Castle.

Before I go on I just want to say that I have been thinking about the title of this shot for about 2 weeks now and it’s been a headache. But after I explain why I choose the name I hope you agree that it matches quite nicely.

I love the effect the sky and clouds give. I feel it gives a sense of time moving fast and that it passes the castle whilst it stands there defenceless against time.

Also you can see that the castle is now a ruin, it’s crumbled and you can see the wear and tear which time has dealt its cruel hand.

I won't say anymore as I hope you can gain a feel for the picture

That is a breathtaking shot. I am in love with the composition and the colors.

The clouds look like they're in motion, and it adds to the image; almost as if time has stood still for the castle, and the rest of the world is moving on.

i like the texture and the perspective of the rock but when i took a closer look at the building...it's not a good angle for it...but then i alter my perspective on thinking that you're trying to emphasize the nature of the structure and how it formulates to the site and how it becomes part of the site...where there's no distinction between architecture and the site...which is good ...hehe again stupid canon for IR haha still for composition and perspective

This is a very nice shot. The cool steel blue of the sky goes very well against the dark grey of the stone. Compositionally I wish there was more sky, it feel like perhaps there it too much stone and not enough blue to offset it. Your rght about the clouds adding a nice sense of movement to the image. Overall it's a very nice photo, keep up the good work
