This was just testing out some new bits and pieces for the ponygirls to wear, but it turned into a whole thing.

The woodsman and his family lived a couple of miles from the village they nominally belonged to, hunting and trapping in the forest. Yish knew that such characters could be a good source of local wilderness lore and other valuable information, and so she decided to make contact, as she had once done with her friend Anika.

"Summer rain is fine," Shenna smiled. "Girlhide can handle a bit of wet."
