Description Playing with lines

The first one [link] had a man in it… so it seemed fair to post one with a woman too

I hope you like it.

I like how you seem to be obsessed with the contrast. It reminds me of someone..
On the photo now..Did you also try taking the photo with an angle from the ground? The advantage of the current photo you have here is that the lines of the building extend to the top of the photo withouth "stopping"(that is, the building does not end there) so you have a background with shapes. However, this very fact, along with the rail in the foreground might make the picture lack "air". Maybe all these elements along with a bit of sky/horizon or any other sense of distance would add to the picture.
I have to admit that your usual painstainking sharpening proccedure pays off, as can see details from the windows of the building can be observed, as well as shadows of the windows at the other side of the building but also construction details from the inside Differences in the brightnees of some of the windows also add.
It looks to me a bit weird though that the lamps are so dark [both the main body and top]. I noticed but they look the same way in the other photograph as well. I think the photo was taken in the afternoon, which might explain that.

I am obsessed with contrast in the way that I wish it to add/contribute to atmosphere of amplify certain feelings that might be drawn from the picture… I have tried quite a few shots but not many of them were actually planed out. This for example was a follow and shoot. I say the woman at a point, didn’t shoot because the background was too confusing but waited until she passed through the environment you see her in the picture.

Indeed , the photo lacks air because with the last 2 photos I wanted to accentuate on the cold/grayish cities so many of us live in.

β€œthe building does not end there” actually the structure would of ended after another row of panels And if you look at the first picture, it’s actually a done which here I have distorted a bit to make it seem more like a wall.

Ah well my sharpening technique. I’m improving it day by day and I hope I’ll get around to do a tutorial, but until then I have to be sure there isn’t a faster and better way… because in that case, mine would bee useless ; about the details in the windows… they are more obvious not necessarily because of the sharpening but rather because of the contrast/shadow edit. I also used the burn tool. (I recommend you take a look into it, it’s such a powerful tool )

The lamps are dark because in reality they are painted black, and as you well said, taken on a cloudy afternoon; when I added more contrast to the photo, their dark tone got black.

Again Dimitris, thankful for your visit

hehe, imi place ca ai prins-o pe tanti in miscare, in timp ce nenea era in repaus...

Thank you for viewing and really looking at the picture
