Illustration based on a photo by Kim Taylor Reece, also based on the necklace I wear based on aforementioned photo.Hula dancer in the surf. "Makanani" is Hawaiian for "See The Beauty."
I wear my necklace to remember to do just that. There is beauty everywhere if you just open your eyes.

Thanks! That's just me using a standard Photoshop installed rolled dry rag brush. Nothing fancy but a few swipes here and there, boom. Waves on shoreline/knees!

Thanks so much! Glad you do. I had a lot of fun with this one since it's based off of my own jewelry. Never did anything quite like that conceptually before. Wondering now why I haven't.
