I don't know, what you really want to show. Ymmm, it's like that: a sitting girl with tablecloth on her head, rough sea, disappearing trees and 'plastic' lightening on the background.. In my opinion its uncorrect. I don't know, what is on your art. It's something like that -> open Photoshop -> paste backroung -> paste trees -> change opacity -> paste girl -> change opacity -> paste lightening -> change opacity -> save.. Ymm, may it's your beginning in photomanipulations, anyway you should work on it. Don't treat it, like a negative critique - I just want to you to educate, that you have to do it better, okay ?

LOL! I like your description and I appreciate your input. I am definitely a beginner! This was one of my first experiments with masks & layers. I was actually sort of pleased with it, but if everyone looked at everything the same way, had the same taste, and wa at the same level art would be very flat and boring! I ask for critiques to get just the sort of response you gave - honest ones, whether on the positive or negative side of the see-saw. It helps me learn - seeing through the perspective of others as I am a self-taught artist woth noooo background in graphic art. You help me step back and look again, teach me a new trick, tweak a technique. Thank you and please don't stop!
