Description
The Hellion is the direct predecessor to the AEU-09 Enact, and has been fielded in large numbers by the Advanced European Union for several years. It stands 15.4 meters tall (considerably shorter than most modern mobile suits), and weighs a total of 58.2 metric tons.

The Hellion is a transformable mobile suit like the Enact, though its flight mode is considerably slower and less maneuverable. In both mobile suit and flight modes, the hellion generally wields a linear rifle, though the Hellion is capable of wielding a variety of other weapons.

Despite being an older model, the Hellion is still the primary mass-produced mobile suit fielded by the AEU and its allied nations. Over the years, many variants have been developed, focused mainly on the head design and armament. The AEU's willingness to give its mobile suits to smaller allied countries has led to a significant number of Hellions falling into the hands of terrorist groups. In 2307, at the 10th anniversary of the Human Reform League's completion of their orbital elevator/solar collector "Pillar of Heaven", one such terrorist group launched an attack using AEU-05 Hellions, triggering heavy political tensions between the HRL and the AEU.
