Yay for updates! I got a deviantart account specifically so I could comment on the AU. Wow. I'm surprised that Jin doesn't know much about the fire. I guess Zuko just never wanted to talk about it because he didn't want to have to relive that experience. I like how you had him make an excuse and leave. It just felt right. Each page isn't very long, but it says a lot. Each line implies a lot more than it says.(btw, all this is compliments, just in case it's not clear) I like how much their facial expressions say too. They're not just stock expressions like happy or sad, they have a blend of things that really fits the situation. Thanks again for the update and keep up the great work!

I love the way Zuko looks in the second panel. V. cute. And when Jin said, "He is very touchy about his wrists," I really started to like her, lol. The expression her face, the way both she and Katara are frustrated at not understanding... it's really good, because I just can't hate Jin. D:
Anyway, overall, this page was really well-drawn and clean, and I just like looking at it.

huh...I thought it was a library, style of chairs and the squareness of the table, make the table long and make the chairs more roundish at the top, that might do the trick.

I just read the whole thing in one sitting, and I rather like it so far. The only thing that bothered me is how Katara wrote to him for years without reply before finally stopping, and how they constantly thought about each other. I don't think real people think about middle school friends/crushes who moved away, but then again, it could just be me; I was never very close to anyone in middle school.
Otherwise, I'm finding it excellent, and I'm looking forward to more.
