That'd drive me crazy as well. It just seems to suck.
If my mom or dad tried to do that they'd kill a rainforest with the amount of paper they'd use.

Hahaha my dad does the exact same thing. He'll leave notes like "CLEAN THE CAT BOX TODAY!" or "MAKING SURE THE FREEZER IS CLOSED" and they'll always be in big bold letters. He leaves the cat box one over the door so it's the first thing I see when I walk in the kitchen, lol it's like ok asshole I get it.

There's a little post-it note thing right above the toilet paper roll that says "There is a $1.00 fine for failing to replace the toilet paper roll if you finish it."
And she WILL charge XD.
There's also one above the chest freezer and the snow gloves next to it (for when you dig through the freezer) that says "Please return mittens here -->".
But she doesn't continually post new notes, unless I ask her to leave behind a to-do list for me during the summer (because otherwise she'd get mad at me for not doing whatever she never told me to do but assumed I would do).
I'd get really miffed, really quickly, if she did that all the time!
I think it's great that you've found some things in your life that are both entertaining and have found so much common ground with so many people/are easy to relate to

you have to wonder sometimes: why doesn't he just flip the switch or move the dish? I unno. My brother has OCD and freaks out over stuff all the time sometimes its fun to mess with it.

I can't live without notes, lists, and reminders.
This may sound sad, but I'm so ADD, even though I'm 22, I still have to have post-it note reminders in obvious places to remind me to take my medications and brush my teeth.

*chuckles* I leave notes for myself all over the house. There's one on my front door right now that says DON'T FORGET YOUR BENTO MONEY. This is how I deal with having a short-to-long-term memory function like a sieve...
My dad leaves notes on the kitchen table when I'm at home, but they tend to be adorable and purposely misspelled. Stuff like ARNIE-FACE CHEK UR MESSAGES ON FELLYTONE, ALSO PUT DISHES IN DEE DUB FOR GREAT JUSTICE, LOVE HONORED FATHER-SAN with an absurd little howly face in the corner.

My mother does the same thing. Notes inside the cupboard saying "cups should not be placed upside down," on the doors stating "do not slam doors before 9am or after 10pm," crap like that.
I guess it isn't anything too unreasonable though. xD

Oiy try 3 page 'to do' lists from your mum... and I'm not talking about large writing with spacing i'm talking about a list that had about 50 items on it... and this was on school days... in the summer the lists doubled... and the lists sometimes included to clean HER room... she's like OCD and very controling... I swear I dusted/vaccumed/windexed the whole house every single day... it was horrible

When I was younger I use to have to make sure everything was in it's right place or else I'd go crazy. But this was all something I put upon myself with my items, not other peoples. But I've became much better about it over time, because I'd work on the problem a little at a time. I still have a little case of it, but it's not nearly as bad as it was. =^_^=
