This photo got me curious about the location and from I could find, it's very remote and isolated. I would love to visit such a wilderness some day, with no traces of woodcutting, tractors and other human activities. Just nature, free to run its course.

Yes, Altai is just such a place. There for miles, you can not meet human habitation or of human activity. Yes, there are tourist trails, but they are still quite "wild" and unequipped, just a trail in the mountains. Now there blooms maralnik (rhododendron Ledebour), and the mountains are pink and purple.
