I can't say much about that glowing thing
It's not edited, I tell you.
It happened when my big brother borrowed my Nokia 6600 Slide to take a shot on our cat on the steering wheel.
He uses digital zoom, focus and shot as normal and that happened.

I knew that optical zoom for my handphone sucks, clearer when in no zoom. Also I think that it's eyes reflect light from the flash back to the lens, resulting in that.
I really like the red glow on the left eye and green on the right.
