Alternative story: one day goliath decides to embark on a new journey through time with elisa to make sure that the past is not altered

But Brooklyn has grown tired of always being overshadowed and not considered useful enough in the adventures of its leader, he also thinks of the words of their old enemy "you're just a puny gargoyle"

So he decides it's time to do something: with his "slender body" he steals the "eye of beholder" pendant without anyone noticing, waits for the moment when the full moon arrives and puts on the pendant

This object transforms the one who brings it into what he really wants by evolving it and what Brooklyn wants is to be a very strong gargoyle

so begins the metamorphosis at full moon, away from everyone, in a lonely street corner: the heart begins to beat wildly, with each beat its body becomes higher and higher until it stops ... after a short pause the heart beats faster wildly than before and this time the muscles of the whole body begin to grow, even of the hands and feet, with each beat his muscles get bigger and bigger

at one point he thought it was enough but the pendant had peered into Brooklyn knew it was not enough for him ... continuing to increase more and more the muscle mass of that huge scarlet gargoyle ... the pendant is making him become more aggressive, thinking of the humiliations suffered in the past, now that he is getting monstrously strong he starts to growl, he wants to take revenge on everyone... he is completely addicted to all the power that the pendant gives him, Brooklyn has now far surpassed the size and strength of goliath ... but he keeps repeating "give me even more strength, more ... MORE!" the pendant unleashes its power all the way by inflating Brooklyn's muscles beyond all possible limits

once the metamorphosis is over, he feels a strong sense of omnipotence, such as to emit a roar so strong that even the walls of the city's skyscrapers tremble, taking flight with its mighty wings and with the asphalt that breaks under the feet of a huge and powerful beast like him

Brooklyn arrives (causing with the landing, vibrations similar to a small earthquake) to Demona's house and breaks through the door, she still scared remains incredulous at what she sees, a huge gargoyle twice the goliath and at least 6 times more muscular, the only thing Demona can say is "Brookyn ??? how can you be so ... so huge ... what have you done ?!" the huge gargoyle approaches the tiny Demona, making the mansion tremble with every step

without too many turns of words he forces her to make a magic formula on the pendant, in this way the pendant continues to give him that disproportionate strength without time limits ... and then he decided to swallow the pendant so no one else could have possessed it, ( Demona seemed happy with how things were going) at that point he decided that the time had come to confront his now small leader goliath, in the meantime go back to his companions' lair and he will show his tiny friends who is in charge, at least until when goliath would return from his time travel ... there will be a huge and scarlet surprise waiting for him
