Description I got this pattern from Vanna White's crocheting site I believe. I didn't use the same colors she used (gold and pink) and instead made it into white and black. I made his tail, ears, and back paws with black yarn. The other parts of his body with just white.

I made this for my best friend that was staying in Peru for a little while. It came late, but I intended it to be a gift for his birthday.

I put my little touches here and there and had to give him the bow tied around his neck. It seemed to pull it all together!

Hehe I love Jesus too.

Actually, this picture was taken in Peru after my friend got the package. I had already taken pictures of the rabbit before I sent it off to my friend. And then he sent me pictures (that was pictures of his desk. He actually was in Peru at the time doing missionary work from America for our religion ). This one looked the best so I had to post it here.

But I do have the same model and the same Jesus picture as well! Hehe.

Wow awesome! I don't know if God wants me to do a missionary work, I'd love to. Your friend is very blessed. There must be a lot of souls saved on that mission. I thank God for that.

I am Panamanian, and God has expanded our church to other places of Central America and Colombia. Soon, on November, all our brothers and sisters from the other countries are comming to Panama. We are having a little congress of 2 days and a worship concert on the third day. I never imagined I would have such a big family. I can't wait to see them again. We are all like counting the days.

I don't think our Heavenly Father would ever withhold one of His loyal and obedient followers back from spreading the word of His Gospel. Perhaps one day you can travel and spread the Word. But know this: every follower of God is a missionary. We may not travel to great parts of the world. We may not be wearing badges resembling our church.

But we are missionaries by example. In your own neighborhood, you can show your love for Christ and our Father. If you feel prompted to share your story and love, then you should reveal it to whom you are talking to. Show that you are honest and good and loving by acting that way to others to spread it. Tell them that it is because of God.

That's what we need to remember. Even though a head person in our church doesn't ask us to go out and serve a message, know that as long as we show the world how we are because of Christ, that that is missionary work. People will see how you act and will inquire of you why you are happy. That is when you share your testimony of Christ and God.

That's really cool that your church is being expanded. I'm very happy that there are more followers that are coming into the faith. I hope it goes well. Feel free to share your experience with me when it happens.

Wow, I loved reading this. You are totally right, there are still people around us that do not know how fantastic is to dedicate our lives to what God chose us to do and all the blessings that are expecting us. We don't even have to go that far to do what God needs us to do. But I also think that we can't limit ourselves, that's why if God sends me somewhere to do something, I have to be confident not in my own skills or gifts but in that his will is going to be done and that he will take total control of it and we will be successful. I'll let you know about our 3 days expereince when it is over, I'm also expecting to see some friends from USA and Colombia who are comming too, not just central

I'm happy that we are similar in our beliefs.

And that you think a lot like me with my beliefs.

May I ask which Christian denomination do you belong to?

And I'm really loving our chats about God and such things. Do you have an MSN account? I was thinking that we could talk there maybe?

Annita-chan In reply to Irukapooka [2010-10-19 17:05:03 +0000 UTC]

I'm happy about it too

I'm just Christian, I don't like to use the word religion, I believe that Jesus came to invite us to be part of the body where he's the head and we are the limbs. And not be separated in diferent religions. Some people think that you should belong to a religion, but well, i say that my religion is Jesus Christ and that's it let me send you a pm with my msn.

lol, Jesus. "I seeee youuu~" I like it.
This is adorable! Really great, I love his little black paws and the looong ears.

and the bow does indeed pull everything together. Very good job.
to that end, I love Vanna and her crocheting and her gameshow-ing. n__n

Irukapooka In reply to unarmedLions [2010-10-09 06:23:39 +0000 UTC]

Hehe yes, Jesus was there.

Reason being is because my best friend was in Peru at the time serving a religious mission in the country for our religion. I gave him the little rabbit and then he placed it upon his desk and took a picture of the plush like that.

This is him if you'd like to see some of his AMAZING photography work ------------>

But thank you so much for the nice compliments. Wow that really puts a smile on my face. I'm happy that you see it in the same way as I do.

I'm also happy that you know who I'm talking about when I mentioned Vanna White. I know when I first heart about how that Vanna White had a crocheting site along with her own line of yarn and free patterns, I didn't think she was the same Vanna White of Wheel of Fortune. But it turned out that she is!

I love her work. She really inspires me.

Thank you once again dear.

Alas and Alack, I only know how to knit. I've tried crochet, but I've only ever gotten the hang of making a chain, and that's about it.

I've tried learning from youtube vids, but I think I should probably take a class or something...unless you are somewhere in the vicinity of the Nation's Capital and have lots of spare time

Ah, I do not sadly. I've never been on the Eastern coast.

I hope you can find what your looking for soon. But like I said before, I can teach you if you wanted. It's very easy once you get the hang of it and know your stitches. I promise.

If you want, you could also look up videos for how to crochet via youtube.

If that makes sense.

I'm tired.

._.

Hehe but yeah I would love to teach you how to crochet if you wanted. So just give me a holler if you have the time and want to know how to do cute little plushies like that.

Hoping your doing well with other things though at the moment.

Irukapooka In reply to DragonThief [2010-10-03 06:51:39 +0000 UTC]

Well the pattern is online from Vanna White's (yes, the lady that would turn the letters on the show "Wheel of Fortune ) yarn and pattern website. She has many patterns on there. All you have to do is sign up and then search her patterns. A lot of them are free to download since you're a member.

I was just going to show you how to crochet if you wanted to. I could find a...what's it called...oh ya! A tutorial with pictures and words or just a youtube video.

But if you really want me to make you one, let me know. I just wanted to say that I'm going to plan on teaching other people on this site. It's such a nice stress reliever. And I thought that I would let you know if you wanted to save your monies. Hehe.

I make clothes, I wouldn't have time to crochet. I'm all about the sewing machine and stuff. though I think it would be cool to learn how to make lace. I'd never want to do it super time consuming, but it would be cool to know how to make lace.

I don't mind paying for it. what would you charge for it? or we could trade and I can make you a super cool shirt.

Irukapooka In reply to DragonThief [2010-10-06 04:59:48 +0000 UTC]

Let me think about it. If I have the right type of yarn around my house, I'll see what I can do.

Do you have any way of showing me what kind of designs of shirts you have done?

DragonThief In reply to Irukapooka [2010-10-06 19:07:10 +0000 UTC]

[link]

that has a couple of the shirts I've made. I have plans for new ones that are going to be awesome as well. like 3/4 black in front 1/4 tiger stripes with long sleeves and reverse for the back. that will be amazeballs. as well as more open in the back shirts but I take it you'll want modest shirts. I also have stripes, bright colors and more for materials.

Well the reason why my friend was in Peru for about two years was because our church sponsored him and sent him down there for a religious mission. That's why there's Jesus on the wall. ^^ Lol.
