Isn't calling someone ugly on the inside an insult? Seems a bit hypocritical.

I worry about this generation and our constant media thematic that asserts the implication if you are ever criticized or insulted, it's a negative reflection on the other individual, and not yourself. People progressing through life fully invested in such idea may grow up with some serious problems, the least of which is some dangerously thin skin.

If we need to conceptualize this way of thought in the event of some random stranger on the Internet calling us morons, I fail to see how we'll ever cope with any real pain, such as the death of a parent or other loved one.
