Full Description:

The M43 Tactical is another energy-based submachine gun that fires .43 Aux. This weapon took direct design inspiration from the classic C96 and M712 pistols from Mauser. While still very much a pistol-sized weapon, the unique stock/grip design and the longer barrel are indicative of a weapon meant for mid-range combat. The barrel also utilizes Thompson-style cooling fins on the barrel due to this weapons high rate of fire. The team at Baker Future Soldier Weapons Development also produces a pistol version of this weapon called the Marauder, and is planning on manufacturing a drum magazine in the same vain as the Snail drum.
