I can totally feel the effects that this beautiful place has over people that have been there,
and the heartache they must have also felt when it came time for them to leave.
You're photos are always captivating and incredible Isac,
a real inspiration to what a photographer can hope to accomplish in this format of art.

Venice really has that "effect" on you when you see it for the first time. I don't know if it's the incredible uniqueness with the canals and all or maybe just the sheer history behind the place, but either way, it's unforgettable indeed.

you also have a great gallery with some very meaningful works. I read that piece about pageviews, and I agree with you completely. sometimes we should stop and evaluate why we post the things we do .. and what is our greater motivation. If it's pageviews, eventually we'd all quit.

I don't think I could visit a place so beautiful
and full of history on so many levels and be able to
force myself to leave.
I hated leaving Germany when I was there
and I lived there for a year.
And when it was time to go home,
it tore me to pieces and left a longing in me
to travel again someday to all
of those amazing countries so rich with
art and history and to never come home again.
Your photos are showing others what these places
mean to you and the profound effects
that they've instilled in you, and your gracious
and daring enough to share these with others
that will hopefully appreciate them as much as you do.

I try to share with others what matters to me, what inspires me,
and how I see the world through my eyes and mind no matter how
serious, silly, simple, painful, happy, or weird it all is.
Yes if I lived to create the art that I create totally doing it all for a few pageviews,
I would have quit after just a few months.
