But you know how sometimes when one sees a whole litter of adorable kittens running about, instead of carrying them one by one, you get overwhelmed by the sight of them all in one place so you just stick em all in a large basket and squee over them all at once?

...yeah.

Anyway yes.

These are all OC's. Some are mine, others belong to my friends. These are my renditions of them.

I just loved their different characters so much I wanted to make a tribute to them. No one asked me to, these weren't requests. I know am not one to say what makes a character this and that, or what makes it good or what makes it bad. It is just my love of these characters that I know of now, because I personally just like them. Kay? :3

There's this AWESOME EPIC fanfiction that wrote based on the Avatar universe using his own creatively well developed original characters. <33

The story takes place somewhere during a few decades prior to the reawakening of the Avatar, there was a small sect of fire nation nobles who believed that peace could be attained without bloodshed through diplomacy and economic advantage. They didn't want to approach Azulan with it, for fear of his reaction. So they planned on proving they could do it with a few earth kingdom villages as evidence of it working. One of the nobles, a wealthy and noble fire nation woman, named Wen Lan who had formal training in martial arts, (Not bending) was supposed to head off to an earth kingdom village where nobles had planned to meet with her to discuss truces in those provinces...until there are clashes between her and her goal to maintain peace between those who think differently... earthkingdom generals, firenation warlords...and a mysterious, but infamous warrior outcast who is simply known as "The Demon" ...

This story he wrote has come to be one of my all time favorite avatar fanfics among the fics I have read. Yeah, I know, it doesn't really involve the characters from the series but...The writing, the battle scenes, TEH Character relationships, the action, the suspense, how it incorporates things in the avatar universe logically, it's written almost as if it were for a book and as if it could be for the animated series itself.

I think of it as like "The Knights of the Old Republic" of Avatar, all there with a hint of Chinese Wuxia/rurouni kenshin/Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon. Truly enjoyable, AWESOME once you get into it. A great original story based on the Avatarverse.

A seemingly carefree waterbender healer from the Southern Watertribe that meets a certain young firebender soldier (Jeong-jeong) wounded in the battlefield, is one of her village who heals and speaks with him, through some words and simple actions, later gets him to question his beliefs about his loyalty to the FireNation army.

One of my favorite OC's that I love, Kimchi has a sequential series in her gallery called "Loyalty" that from beginining to end, I have enjoyed viewing. Simple but beautiful, and addicting :33

During the avatar-fans OC contest some time ago, when there was a large number of young, beautiful female OC's, Booter-freak broke the mould and came out with a one of the most BAD-ASS characters ideas. An gruff earthkingdom bandit, a fearsome villain named Hon-Yan [link]

Ooyeah, and this guy? Was totally made before Gow (the earthkingdom captain from "Zuko Alone") appeared. :3

Aichan and Totomi and Yisun

When Totomi, a serious-minded watertribe girl, leaves her village from the south to go to the Earthkingdom for her first assignment as a traveling shaman's apprentice, she finds herself being followed and pestered by an odd, and somewhat hyperactive ruffian from the Firenation...
The two later meet and befriend Yisun, a mild-mannered earthkingdom girl, who tries to help Totomi on her assignment...
who probably later also has to keep the two from annoying each other along the way. XD

Some renditions were done by different means. When the other computer is free, which is rare, that's when I have the patience to use my mouse on opencanvas.
It took forreeever to finish scanning and fixing it all together XP.
