Page one of a personal comic. About "Havilah",a girl who goes to a faraway place to remember herself.

Did this when a lot of not-so-good crap hit the fan mid-December at around the same time, and I just had to.

Awesome work. I really like how the facial expressions and colors say everything. No need for words.
I feel for you. It sucks that when life gives you lemons it doesn't give you just 1 or 2, it dumps a whole tree's worth of them on you without warning.

It's good to channel negative vibes into a creative output. It's a lot better than keeping things bottled up (like I do) and having it explode in the worst possible situations. D:

I have always loved how you can express SO MUCH with absolutely NO dialogue. You are able to speak volumes of emotion with no text and touch people (namely moi XP ) on a level that is baffling and beautiful. I can't wait to see where this goes.

I looooove how you had the darker shade over the lighter shade of colors to identify the character and where the emotion is really going in the panel. It's little things like that that I never think of doing and when you see it it's just kind of....djsadhaskds.

I can relate to a lot of the senarios presented in this comic. Poor kid, she needs some love and attention. *gives her a hug*
...Just wondering, is Havilah Jewish by any chance? It's a Jewish name, at any rate (unless it's not her name, and just the name of the comic... just wanted some clarity on this is all).

Also, Havilah is a Jewish name, and I think at some point or another this character may be half jewish/ancestry. But the name came moreso from another girl I used to know. : >

What a sad story this tells; this story really speaks to me, it speaks to everyone. There are times in our lives where it seems like nothing goes right and your life is going down the drain; you just have to be strong and try to pull through it all. Hope things get better for you.
I like how each panel gets redder and redder and finally breaks and loses all colour on the last panel, it represents the moment in life when you become so stressed that everything in you just...snaps.

I think everyone has gone through something similar
Sometimes you just gotta let it out to relieve some of the pressure and just keep moving forward. Even if things are dark you can rest assured that there is light.

I can totally relate. I hate when crap seems to loom over your entire day/week/month/etc. It seems like no matter how hard you try to remain positive about the situation, things keep coming at you from every direction.
I love the blocked colors (or...however you'd describe it xD /fail). It really helps set the mood.
