Katara from "Avatar: The Last Airbender"Took three days to finish. And finally it's done!!! *flails arms in the air*
Katara deserves more fanart because as one of the only FEMALE characters in the series, she needs some appreciation for her being herself, whether she's being the ideal female/sister/mother/figure, or just being your all around regular, moody teenager.
So that being said....yeah.

P.S. needless to say this is done as a pair for "Ouji no Houka" *COUGH AHEMCOUGH*

I guess, I have no idea really, I just figure that in a lot of japanese descriptions, the thing getting described is usually last.
(ie. Recca's Flame = Flame of Recca = Honoo no Recca)

I agree with this. Here, the Maiden, who is being specified by Snow, would go last. Therefore, "Yuki no Otome" would be "Snow Maiden", while "Otome no Yuki" would probably mean "Maidenly Snow".

For those who care to know, Otome no Yuki, kinda means "Snow-maiden"
or sumpin like that....meh my corny japanese.

I rarely comment, but I've got to agree. This is my first time seeing Avatar fan art, and I think you've done a great job of this portrait. I can't really say she's my favorite character of yet, but she's the one going through the most growth, so she's a sort of gauge of things go in the episode. And she does tend to fall into all the categories you said.
