Verayl is a Pathfinder character of mine that played in the Jade Regent campaign, a Aasimar cleric & druid of Sarenrae. He learned sign language in a monastery devoted to Sarenrae where all monks took a vow of silence, which worked great for him as he was mute. Formally he studied religious texts and philosophy, and worked the farming fields. He also accompanied other monks in a caravan, and when he finished his cleric training, he took to traveling the world, seeking to aid the weak and treat the sick and wounded.
During his adventures he was poly-morphed into a white squirrel and kept the love of acorns once he regained his original form. He also favored them as companions as he begins his training as a druid.
