Congratulations on the sub! It was well deserved. I love the imagery, not to mention the nifty story behind it.

Saying "he was so hot" felt weird

but the truth is I put a lot of research into it, because I was trying to make a villanelle. With the deadline looming I cut it short. I'm a bit giddy to see it turned out so well.

Deadlines swoosh
as they fly by,
downsizing dreams.

I laughed outright when I read "he was so hot" coming from you. I like the haiku you posted below your comment.

I'm thinking of making that my signature thing, a Haiku after my comments. That would leave an impression

I'm seriously considering it. Ever heard of ~WritersForArt ? They want writers to poetically comment on visual stuff. I'm not going to join, but that doesn't mean I won't support the cause

Ooh, no, I hadn't heard of them. Interesting... I'm scampering off to check that out.

What a lovely poem! I have to admit that even though being narcissistic is not a good trait to have (even though I do somtimes O.o), I find that Narcissus is one of my favorite Greek characters. And the flowers are simply a breath of fresh air when I gaze upon their delicate butter cream petals.

And yes this comment just went totally random

Thanks for the random comment. I'll take it to heart, pass it through customs, and incorporate it in all my future poetry. or not

No problem! When you're sitting in class and don't feel like paying attention, random comments are the way to go
