I did this piece for my GCSE art exam. My keyword was 'decoration' and I was exploring the ideas of old-fashioned William Morris-esque floral decoration, and the modern fashion of decorating your own body through the use of tattoos.

I've painted a picture of my own profile, and then embroidered a floral thing over the top. It took about eight hours. I'm aware that the painting isn't brilliant - I would've liked to put in more detail, especially on the highlights in the hair.
