I like the way you portrayed Smoker. He seems pretty chill but can also be a bit of a try hard, and that's not good for him when he's stuck with a bunch of lunatics for a team.
Also, I can't help but imagine him sounding like Raoul Duke from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, mostly because of how he'd talk with the tongue hanging out of his mouth.

I think smoker has normal red blood in deeper parts of him and his skin and those icky tumours may bleed the green stuff.

I would imagine that tumours cause a lot of pain. (apart from the dependence) Maybe Smokers smoke that much to numb this pain? Or make that it even worse? Could a Smoker die if he don't get cigaretts?

Haha i always portrayed the Smoker always having a rivalry with the Hunter over the two getting kills and stuff, when i played Left 4 Dead 2 (i don't have the game anymore right now because i accidently broke the disc) i always had trouble playing as both these guys, once i tried to run to a hiding spot as the Smoker the game spawned me around a corner RIGHT where the survivors were and i immediately spawned in, then the next thing i saw was Heaven cause i immediately got shotgunned XD
